Little Janey

Little Janey could never sit still. Neither could her mother, fortunately. The two of them spent months exploring the farthest reached of the Annwn Simulation in search of rare items which would catch a high price in the dust of Market. They spent their nights by their glowing campfires, Janey asking endless questions about where the fairies fit into the hierarchy of men and angels and God.

One dim night, the protective wards around their camp flared up too late to warn them of the Keeper squad which had come to arrest them. Janey curled up in the tent and prayed that the Keepers would not see them. They grabbed Janey's mother, but left Janey where she lay. Her prayer had been answered, if only partially.

Now she trades on her own, believing it to be her calling to bring Jesus to the fey.
